A First-Generation Builder, And a Family Business.

Rishabh Builders started in Durg in 1997 with one project and one promise: build the kind of house you would be happy for your own family to live in. Nearly thirty years later it is still a family-run company, and that is still the test.

How we got here

Built On Faith And Commitments, Not Just Concrete

Mr. Basant Katariya founded Rishabh Builders in 1997 as a first-generation entrepreneur, at a time when organised development in central Chhattisgarh barely existed. The first colonies were in Durg, behind the District Court, on land most people thought was too far out of town. That colony is Rishabh Nagar, and the company still works from it.

Since then we have constructed more than three million square feet and handed over upwards of three thousand units across Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon and Kanker: apartments, villas, row houses, duplexes, plotted townships and commercial complexes. The company is ISO 9001 certified and employs around a hundred and fifty people directly.

We are backward integrated, which means we do the land, the design, the approvals, the construction, the sales and the handover ourselves. When something goes wrong there is nobody else to point at, which is the whole idea.

Our PropCare desk handles resale and rental for owners in our projects: tenants, inspections, negotiation, agreements and registration.

A first generation entrepreneur, Mr. Katariya began his career from a dry fruits shop in the family business.

Chief Executive Officer
A graduate in Commerce from Pt. R.S.S. University, Raipur. He joined the company in 1998.
Abhilesh Jain
Chief Operating Officer
Graduate in Production Engineering and Management from NIT Calicut, and a PG Diploma in Marketing from St. Joseph College of Business Management, Bangalore.
Shreyansh Katariya
Director and Chief Sales Officer
He joined Rishabh at the age of 21 as a sales trainee in 2012, with energy and a gift for direct sales.
